Musical Journey

My journey in music began with playing the violin. By the age of five, I knew I wanted to become a conductor, and my love for jazz added new dimensions to my aspirations. This is hardly surprising, as I grew up in a family of musicians: my father was a conductor, my mother a violinist, and my elder brother a jazz pianist.

Possessing a rare bass-profundo voice, I pursued academic vocal training with some of the best professors in Russia. As a choir artist and soloist, I performed with renowned ensembles such as the Masters of Choral Singing, the Sretensky Monastery Choir, and musicAeterna. I also took part in the prestigious Diaghilev Festival under the guidance of prominent contemporary conductors. These experiences honed my expertise in working with both orchestras and choirs.

After graduating with honors from the Kazakh National Conservatory named after Kurmangazy with a specialization in symphonic conducting, I worked with the Karaganda Symphony Orchestra, the State Symphony Orchestra of Kazakhstan, the chamber ensemble Camerata Kazakhstan, and the State Choir Capella of Kazakhstan.

Since the day I first heard Tchaikovsky's music as a child, I have continued to explore this fascinating world and share my passion with audiences. Today, my work spans conducting, performing jazz in clubs, and delivering educational lectures on how to listen to and understand music.
